The loop

One thread, start to signed.

01 · The plan set

A PDF plan set arrives.

Every sheet renders, gets a name from its own title block, and joins the set.

02 · First pass

Detection reads every sheet.

Rooms, doors, windows, walls: counted into bid-ready quantities.

03 · Doubt

It flags what it isn't sure about.

Low-confidence finds queue for review. You check what needs checking.

04 · Wire

Runs are drawn, or suggested.

AI drafts the circuits; you accept, reject, or drag any route like you drew it.

05 · The estimate

Counts become priced lines.

Assemblies price the takeoff; every line carries its source.

06 · Signed

The client signs the exact revision.

Sealed, fingerprinted, revision-bound. And the invoice follows the same thread.

Your documents

What happens to your documents.

Bid sets are competitively sensitive. Said plainly.

WHERE FILES LIVE

Your plan sets stay in your workspace, stored on Cloudflare R2. Remove a project from your workspace whenever you choose.

WHAT AI SEES

Detection runs through enterprise AI APIs under terms that exclude training on your data. Your plans never train AI models.

WHAT CLIENTS SEE

Client view structurally hides cost and margin columns. The shared page and PDF render from it, so margin can't leak.

WHAT A SIGNATURE MEANS

The signed PDF is rendered once at signing, sealed and SHA-256 fingerprinted, bound to the exact revision signed. Every later download serves those same bytes.

WHAT WE DON'T HAVE YET

No SOC 2 audit yet. We're a small team and we'd rather say so than imply one. Ask us anything about data handling at support@bildrix.com.

The full schedule

Everything Bildrix does today, stated per line.

COUNT
A-1AI takeoffRooms, doors, windows, and walls detected, named, and measured across the full sheet; anything uncertain is flagged for review.
A-2Electrical devices & wireSymbols counted from the sheet's own legend; draw wire runs with a live footage readout, or let AI suggest connections, then review them A, X, Tab.
A-3SearchCmd+F for blueprints: type it and matches light up with live counts, or crop a legend symbol and find it across the sheet.
VERIFY
B-1AssembliesApply assemblies from your price book, or let AI suggest them. Every match carries a rationale and a price preview you accept or reject.
B-2AI estimatesEstimates draft from the measured takeoff; each line is tagged: your library price, AI-estimated price, AI-estimated quantity.
DOCUMENT
C-1Client e-signClients read, comment, and e-sign from one link on any device; the signed PDF is sealed at signing, and every download is the same bytes.
C-2RevisionsUpload the revised set: sheets pair by drawing number, quantities diff, and accepted changes stage an AIA G701-format change order. Reductions book as credits.
C-3InvoicesConvert the estimate: deposit, progress billing with a schedule of values, final, or retainage release; payments log against it.
C-4ExportQuantities, estimates, and invoices export to Excel and PDF with names, units, and sheet references intact; invoice CSVs come shaped for QuickBooks import.
Trade coverage

The trades Bildrix takes off today.

Depth is stated per trade, not implied. If it isn’t listed here, Bildrix doesn’t take it off yet.

ARCHITECTURAL

Rooms, doors, windows, walls

Detected at upload, named from the drawing's own labels, measured in SF, EA, and LF, and priced through your assembly library.

ELECTRICAL

The deepest trade

Legends read, devices counted, wire runs drawn or AI-suggested with live footage, panel schedules read into an editable Panel Editor, circuits grouped. Devices and wire get their own ledger.

PLUMBING

Fixture counts, on demand

Fixture detection runs when you ask: one button, or part of Detect All. Counts land in the takeoff like any other quantity.

Electrical, in depth

Draw a run, or let AI suggest the whole circuit.

Wire runs snap to devices and elbow orthogonally, with a live footage readout as you draw. AI drafts switch legs, receptacle chains, and homeruns. You review them A, X, Tab, and drag any accepted route like you drew it yourself. Devices and wire land in their own ledger rows.

Takeoff tools stop at quantities. Bildrix keeps going: the estimate, the signature, the change order, the invoice. One thread from plan set to invoice.

Fit

Built for the 1 to 15 person electrical sub.

Plan-set commercial and TI work. If that's you, this was built around your Tuesday. Small GCs running plan-set jobs fit too. Built for US and Canadian projects: USD pricing, NEC references, imperial units.

FOR: plan-set commercial · TI bids · small GCs · US & Canadian projects
NOT YET: service calls without drawings · projects outside the US & Canada. We'd rather say so here than on a call.

Straight answers

The questions estimators actually ask.

How accurate is it?

We don't quote an accuracy number, and that's the point. Every detection carries a confidence level: sure things render solid, uncertain ones are flagged and queued for review. You verify the flagged minority instead of re-checking the whole sheet. Why no number: the research →

Which trades does it cover?

Architectural quantities (rooms, doors, windows, walls), electrical in depth (devices, wire runs, circuits, panel schedules), and plumbing fixture counts on demand. If it isn't listed on this page, Bildrix doesn't take it off yet.

Where is Bildrix available?

Bildrix is built for US and Canadian construction projects. Pricing is in USD, electrical references follow NEC conventions, and measurements are imperial (feet and inches). If you're bidding work outside the US and Canada, Bildrix isn't a fit yet. We'd rather say that here than after you've uploaded a set.

What happens to my plans?

We don't train AI models on your plans. Detection runs through enterprise AI APIs under terms that exclude training on your data, and your files stay in your workspace. Remove them anytime.

What if the AI gets something wrong?

You'll see it flagged, not buried. Uncertain detections queue for review, where you accept, reject, or reshape them, and messy scans and sparse sheets are labeled honestly instead of showing confident zeros. Anything the AI misses, you draw or count manually in the same takeoff.

What does it cost?

Pricing is public: plans and what's included are on the pricing page, no demo call required. See pricing →

What does the free first takeoff actually involve?

You book a call and send a PDF plan set. We run the takeoff and review it together on that call. That's the free offer. It's a working session on your real project, not a slideshow, and we don't promise a turnaround time we haven't earned yet.

How do I start?

Two doors. Book the review call and your first takeoff is free; we walk your own plan set together. Or start free in the app: upload a plan set yourself and the first pass runs on your sheets. Same product either way; the call just adds our eyes.
